with a drive to be creative and inspiration to do something different I set up all the o’s in the midst of a very busy family life, knowing it was something I’d wanted to do for years. i had a simple goal in mind - to make quality hand painted ceramics that focus on bringing joy and colour into the home.

all the o's bowls are handmade from my studio in leafy surrey where i live with husband and 3 children (the other four o's), to say we have a noisy house would be an understatement, but when they leave every day i'm able to find my happy place, which is handcrafting highly detailed patterns onto big bowls.

having studied fashion at university, i have always had an affinity for pattern & texture, i also love food; preparing & eating, but also the social element of food... gathering around a large family table, chatting and sharing food is one of my most favourite things. and this is where my inspiration first came from... sharing.

those who know me will know that i love to host & create huge amounts of food for guests, whether it be salads, pasta, tray bakes, having something to pile food high in & pass around the table is a big part of my family life.

as a small batch maker, i am able to work around my busy family life. my bowls are all hand crafted with love, care & extreme attention to detail. each bowl takes a lot of patience & a very steady hand to create. i love the handmade process, time and care needed to make each one beautiful and individual. every piece possess a uniqueness similar to that of a fingerprint making each one completely one of a kind.
